Have you received your August issue of Planning? Among interesting articles about climate-induced relocations in Alaska (comparable to our own Isle de St. Jean Charles), about successful habitat conservation efforts for grassland bird species, and about "clean" versus "dirty" energy production mechanisms, you will find on page 13 the Legal Lessons contribution by our own Stephen Villavaso, FAICP, J.D. entitled "Reading Between the Lines". In it Steve discusses the Baton Rouge case of four unrelated individuals occupying a single-family residence. The District Court's decision was overturned by the Louisiana Supreme Court and the plaintiff lost the case.
